The art of exceptional living – 7 points to think about!

Posted on: April 24, 2011

If you want to live an exceptional life, listen to Jim Rohn!

Ideas provided by Jim Rohn are not only exceptional but I can surely state that once we decide to apply what he has said, we can live an exceptional life. Test for yourself. In this post, I would like to share seven key ideas from his audio programs. If you want to remain motivated and inspired in day to day life, my recommendation: Jim Rohn’s audio program. Here are the ten ideas. Take time to think on these and share your thoughts:

1. A prayer for every day:

Don’t wish it was easier, wish you were better. Don’t wish for less problems. Wish for more skills. Don’t wish for less challenges, wish for more wisdom.

2. On action:

If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep getting what youve always gotten.

3. On success:

Success is neither magical nor mysterious. Success is the natural consequence of consistently applying the basic fundamentals.

4. On making fortune:

Formal education will make you a living; self education will make you a fortune.

5 – What can we change?

You cannot change your destination overnight, but you can change your direction overnight.

6. Foundation of success:

Discipline is the foundation upon which all success is built. Lack of  discipline inevitably leads to failure.

7. Become a person who attracts success:

Success is not to be pursued; it is to be attracted by the person you become.

Oh! Mirza sb kiss banday ka zikar ker dia app ne! Jim is Great 🙂

I feel proud to be the student of Jim Rohn. He is “my mentor”. I am in the same business/profession in which Jim Rohn started his career and SPEND his whole life sharing those ideas and inspiration to the millions of people.

ANYBODY who wants to go from “ordinary to extraordinary”, in ANY area of life, then the Jim Rohn is the man who has the ideas and inspiration to lead you. His philosophy is SIMPLE and powerful. He will tell you what life is and how to live it.

Just like a beautiful song, you love to listen it over and over and it touch your heart every time. Same rhythm and magic is in Jim Rohn words. It never gets old.

It’s hard to describe this man in words. He is unique and an extraordinary man. I love him 🙂

Thanks Javed sahib for sharing such nice thoughts and your experience. I truly appreciate your time and comments. Please keep sharing your other ideas on training, learning, motivation and inspiration so we can benefit.

I would like to share how I knew about Jim Rohn.

It was in a newspaper, commonly referred to as an Islamic one, a person had mentioned Jim Rohn’s philosophy of budgeting. How and what percentage we should on what item. In that article he mentioned that Jim Rohn says that if you are going through financial hardship, whether an individual or an organisation, you should increase the amount of charity.

Later on I heard the same thoughts being repeated in several of his audio programs.

This made me listen to him for hours and hours since and I would say Malik Mirza is absolutely right in recommending him for regular listening.

Have a great time, all of you!!

Thanks Jawad – I would really like to thank you for introducing me to Jim Rohn – If you remember, one of the quotes you shared was: When the student is ready, the teacher appears!

Jawad sb it’s good to know your link to Jim. Can you share that newspaper article with me? Jim’s any local article should be part of my library.

I will be thankful 🙂

[You can contact me directly at iamjavediqabl@gmail.com.

The newspaper I referred to was Zarb-e-moman. The writer was Yasir Muhammad Khan and it was way back in 2005-6 so I wont be able to get a copy.

Thanks Malik for mentioning that chat we had. Jim Rohn is the sort of person, once you have listened to him, just thinking about him makes you relax and energize at the same time.

And this gives me another thought, “there are people the mere thought of whom makes us smile, how wonderful we feel when we are actually with them. And there are people the mere thought of whom gives us tension, you can imagine how irritating there presence would be”.

Have a great time!!

That was great Jawad sb – really appreciate sharing of thoughts from your side.
