Are you ‘really’ enjoying your life?

Posted on: January 14, 2010

The rich industrialist from the North was horrified to find the southern fisherman lying lazily beside his boat, smoking a pipe.

“Why aren’t you out for fishing?” Asked the industrialist

“I have caught enough fish for the day” –  Said the fisherman

“Why don’t you catch some more?” Asked the industrialist

“What would I do with them?” – said the fisherman

“You could earn more money. With that money you could have a motor fixed to your boat and go into deeper waters and catch more fish. Then you will have more money to buy nylon nets. This would bring you more fish and more money. Soon you will have more money to buy two boats… may be even a fleet of boats. Then you would be a rich man like me” responded the industrialist in detail.

“What would I do then?” asks fisherman

“Then you could really enjoy life” says industrialist

Fisherman responded: “What do you think I am doing now? “

So, you would like to be the industrialist, working hard for money and waiting to enjoy later or like the fisher man, working and enjoying!

Choice is yours……

Here is an interesting video from Jack Canfield.

I think both were true actually..it only depends on how one defines contended life and what priorites are set..but more votes for industrialists 🙂 !!
