If you look at an old issue with new eyes, you will get a new solution!

The only good search engine available before Google was Alta Vista. Larry Page, the founder of google, was using Alta Vista. However, he was continuously thinking that there is some thing missing. Some thing which can be further improved. What was the missing link?
Larry Page noticed that Alta Vista was not ranking the websites. If more links are on a page and more people visit that website, it should be ranked better than other pages. Hence, Larry Page developed a new system of ranking websites – ‘Page Rank’.
Larry Page introduced the search engine in Stanford University with the name…….
Now, can you guess old name of google?
People at Stanford University used ‘back rub’ search engine with Page Rank facility. It was a research project actually with an idea to download whole internet to a computer and allow people facility for data mining.
Both founders of Google thought to launch their research project commercially – there you go! – Back Rub……????
What should be the ‘catchy’ name of the project?
Both were ‘scientists’ and ‘mathematicians’. So they decided to name it ‘Googolplex’ which is a huge number!
1 Googolplex = 1010,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (Try to count it, if you can!)
However, after brain storming sessions and ‘spelling error’, googol became Google! .
Now, the head quarter of Google is called: Googleplex!
