I love to read good books, share the ideas expressed in those books with people and teaching.

One of my friends introduced me to the world of blogging. In my view, it is a good idea to have ‘a forum with a purpose’. Therefore, I created the blog site: ‘wisdom from books’ to promote ideas from different management books, business books and even novels.

You are most welcome to contribute by leaving comment on blog, share your thoughts and express your views.

Professionally, I am a Chartered Accountant from PricewaterhouseCoopers and have worked in microfinance sector for past several years. Currently, I am working as Senior Manager Finance in a telecommunication company, providing broad band services to various national and international telecommunication operators.

Besides, I am a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA UK), Cost & Management Accountant (CIMA UK) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA USA).

I have taught to candidates of ACCA and the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP) and I hope and expect that this blog will help my students, friends, colleagues, professionals and all those who wish to read books but don’t have enough time, to read summaries, contribute their ideas, share thoughts and express themselves.
